fledji
say: FLEJ-ee

they fledge.
we help you see when.

fledji is the parenting operating system for the first year. one app for sleep, food, milestones, and the firsts no one walks you through. it saves the moments along the way, to keep and share privately with the people who care.

the cost

the cost of doing this with five apps

right now, the average new parent has a sleep tracker, a feeding tracker, a milestone tracker, a photo album, and a notes app full of half-finished questions for the pediatrician. the cheapest one is free, with ads. the most expensive runs four hundred dollars a year and needs its own camera mounted to the wall.

none of them talk to each other. you’ve typed your baby’s birth date into every one of them. you’ve googled the same question three times this week because you can’t remember which app you logged the answer in last time. and on the morning of the pediatrician visit, you’re scrolling backward through three apps trying to piece together what happened.

you shouldn’t need five apps to remember one kid.

what fledji does

what fledji does instead

the right thing at the right moment

across the firsts no one walks you through (sleep training, starting solids, weaning, childproofing, the back-to-work week), fledji is the connecting tissue. the right thing at the right moment, instead of a feed of notifications you have to chase across five apps.

the story, kept as you live it

the same logging that runs your day quietly becomes a record of it. the first time she slept through, the morning he tried banana, the week baby’s laugh changed. fledji holds the moments alongside the data, so a year from now you have the story of your child’s first year, not a folder of screenshots and a notes app you forgot to back up.

the handoffs, prepared

the pediatrician visit, the grandparent weekend, the new nanny’s first tuesday. fledji prepares the handoff for you. growth, feeds, sleep, the questions you wrote down at 3am last tuesday, the routines that actually work, ready to share or print. you’re not scrolling backward through three apps in the waiting room, or texting instructions from the car.

who’s building this

the people building this

we’re expecting parents. our first baby is due in june. we’re building the thing we wish existed for the year ahead of us.

steve

technical founder. data science and product.

i write the code and design the system. before fledji, i spent fifteen years building data science and product at technology companies. i’m building fledji on nights and weekends from our kitchen table, because the apps we tried didn’t add up to the year we’re about to have.

alexandra

creative founder, design and product.

i shape how fledji feels: the ui, the brand, everything you see, touch, and move through while using it. i’m also seven months pregnant, so fledji is, in part, my answer to “what would i actually want at 3am with a baby in one arm?”
